A NOTE FROM DARRIN.....
I’m passionate about living here in Steamboat. It comes down to the way of life we enjoy. The amazing Yampa Valley and Rocky Mountain surrounds - Skiing, snowboarding, snow shoeing, skate skiing, back country touring in the winter and mountain biking, hiking, fishing, rafting and camping in the summers. It’s paradise in the mountains and outright good living.
I grew up in Australia and moved to the States for what was meant to be a couple of years on the east coast. Then my wife and I moved to Steamboat “on our way home” and never left. People told us about it….. “The Yampa Valley Curse”. It sounds like a terrible affliction, when in actuality, it’s simply living the dream - its outright hard to leave this place!
I enjoy the life here with my wonderful wife and family (twin boys who are 5 years old) and we are extremely lucky to be part of this community.
